Valley CAPS

Valley CAPS (Center for Advanced Personal Success) stands as a beacon of compassion and empowerment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in California's Central Valley. Founded in 1976 by visionary parents who dreamed of a safe and nurturing environment for their children, Valley CAPS is a licensed nonprofit organization dedicated to maximizing the quality of life for its participants.

At Valley CAPS, our mission is clear: to be a leading day program for adults with developmental disabilities. We achieve this by offering a range of services and programs tailored to meet the unique needs and aspirations of each individual we serve. Whether through our adult day program services at our facilities in Manteca and Modesto, or through our community-based site for seniors, we strive to create an inclusive and enriching experience for all.

For those unable to attend a traditional day program, Valley CAPS provides the opportunity for a more personalized 1:1 experience through our In-Home Tutoring Program. This commitment to individualized care and support reflects our dedication to empowering every participant to live life to the fullest, according to their own choices and preferences.

Our Opportunities

Valley CAPS offers exciting employment opportunities for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in their community. Currently, we are seeking positive, energetic, and compassionate individuals to join our team in the following roles:

• Part-Time Instructor (28hrs. per week): As a program instructor at any of our various locations, you will provide support and direct-learning experiences to assist individuals in achieving their individual goals. This role offers flexible schedules, day shifts only, Monday to Friday.


• Part-Time In-Home Day Program Instructor (up to 28 hours per week): This role involves working with individuals in our In-Home Tutoring Program, providing personalized support and guidance for a more 1:1 experience. Similar to the Part-Time Instructor role, this position also offers flexible schedules and day shifts only from Monday to Friday.
