The Arc of Amador and Calaveras
The Arc of Amador and Calaveras is a nonprofit organization originally incorporated in 1971. The organization is a member of The Arc of the US and Arc California and supports approximately 200 people with intellectual and developmental differences in Amador and Calaveras Counties.
Our mission is to provide support and services to persons with developmental disabilities so they can better learn, work, live and recreate in the mainstream of life.
Our Opportunities
The Arc of Amador and Calaveras is currently hiring positive, energetic, compassionate individuals. Current opportunity - Full-Time Community Specialist (35hrs. per week): Our Community Specialist team is fun, creative, and dedicated to making a difference every day in the lives of the people we serve. Work as a program instructor at our Community Integration/Adult Development Center to provide support and direct learning experiences that assist people served in achieving their individual goals. Implement training activities at community based sites and other settings. May be required to work some evenings and weekends.
