The WHOLE

WHOLE Family Care Home is a values-driven adult residential care home supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a safe, respectful, and family-oriented environment. We believe dignity, patience, and human-centered care aren’t just words on a wall—they’re how we operate every day.

We’re seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support residents with daily living activities, independence-building, and overall well-being. Day to day, that means helping residents with personal care and ADLs, supporting self-administration of medications per training and licensing standards, keeping the home safe and structured, documenting accurately, and encouraging meaningful participation in community and daily life.

We strongly prefer candidates with prior DSP, caregiving, or residential experience—especially with medication self-administration support—but we will train motivated, aligned people. Requirements: 18+, high school diploma or equivalent, ability to pass a Live Scan background clearance, clear English communication, reliable transportation, and the physical ability to perform the role. Paid training and ongoing supervision provided from day one.

Our Opportunities

We’re a growing organization, not a static one. Over the next two years, WHOLE Family Care is expanding from one care home to five—and that growth is designed to create real advancement for the people who help us build it.

As we open new homes, we need experienced, trusted DSPs to step into Lead and Administrator roles. We’d rather promote from within than hire from outside, which means the DSP who joins us today is exactly the kind of person we’ll be looking to for leadership tomorrow. If you’re dependable, take ownership of your work, and want a path that goes somewhere, this is a rare ground-floor opportunity to grow alongside the organization.

Why Work for Us?

We’re small enough to know every resident and staff member by name, and serious enough to give you clear policies, real training, and a structure that sets you up to succeed—not figure it out alone.

We value compassion, reliability, accountability, professionalism, and a calm presence under pressure. In return, we offer paid training, ongoing professional development, genuine advancement opportunities as we expand, and the chance to do work that actually matters in someone’s life every single day. If you want to be part of a team that treats both residents and staff with dignity, we’d like to meet you.
