SDP Life
SDP Life provides Independent Facilitation services to adults participating in California’s Self-Determination Program throughout multiple regional center catchment areas. We assist individuals and their families in identifying, interviewing, and hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and other service providers who align with each person’s goals, preferences, and person-centered plan. Our role is to support informed decision-making while helping participants build support teams that promote independence, community integration, health, safety, and quality of life.
SDP Life provides recruitment assistance and Independent Facilitation services. Employment opportunities are offered directly by Self-Determination Program participants through their Financial Management Service (FMS) employer model and are not agency positions.
Our Opportunities
SDP Life partners with adults participating in California’s Self-Determination Program who are seeking qualified Direct Support Professionals throughout Sacramento County, the East Bay (Alameda and Contra Costa Counties), Orange County, and San Diego County. Positions vary based on each participant’s unique goals, preferences, and support needs and may include personal assistance, community integration, life skills development, transportation, employment supports, adaptive recreation, creative activities, and other individualized services. Opportunities range from a few hours per week to full-time schedules, depending on each participant’s needs.
